Are you a slob?

I've come to the comfortable realization that I'm a bit of a slob. I'm not suggesting that I live in squalor, but rather that I procrastinate as long as possible before I clean up my messes. I'll work on a project and then take a few weeks before I clean up the mess. I've always been this way at home, however when I'm at work I keep an extremely well organized and clean office. I guess at work I have to be efficient through organization.

I'm writing this thread after looking for my stud-finder for the last 1/2 hour. It was right where it should be ... on my computer desk under a bunch of papers I can't imagine how many hours in my lifetime I'll waste trying to find stuff.

Any other slobs out there?

*looks around his room, sees clothes and other junk strewn randomly on the floor, desk, and bed*

Nope. Definitely not a slob.

Yeah, I sound about the same. I don't live in disgusting filth, but I'm a bit of a slob. What makes it worse is that my wife is too, so we don't "complement" each other that way...it just multiplies more.

I am generally anal with cleaning but then turn into a part time slob until I annoy myself.

I think I'm turning over a new leaf, was thinking about shoving the papers off my desk to expose and sweep off the tea leaves and coffee/tea stains that would be left.

Yeah, we're kind of in that situation as well. My wife isn't a slob, however she's also not a neat-freak. She kinda just leaves my messes alone until I get around to cleaning them, as long as they aren't in the main rooms that visitors will see. She also has her own messes in her crafting areas.

I'm a procrastinating perfectionist. I'm greatly annoyed by messes, but I often put off dealing with them. Sometimes to the point where a once easily dealt with issue becomes large and overwhelming. So I stress myself out for no reason.

my room partially organized... the other part is a complete mess.
I'd clean it up, but the less used places just seem to collect the mess.

most of the mess is bike clothing or tools, since I'm too lazy to organize and stow items I'll have to pull out again so soon.

I clean my place up.. keep it clean..until I go on a trip. Whether work or vacation, I always make a mess getting ready, and then coming home.. then I let the place deteriorate until I just cant take it any more and clean it back to immaculate... rest,,, repeat.

Yeah....I have an ocean of clothes and magazines/bike parts/etc in my room....it's so big that my room has wake, which is dependant on the gavitational pull of the moon.

The rest of the house...a bit disorderly, but healthy. My take is so long as it's presentable and safe, no porblems...but I am striving to improve.
