Why I sometimes woke up in a cold sweat, screaming, "NOT THE SPOON!!"

I confronted my mother about this some years back and she told me that my older sister would wait until I fell asleep at night and she would clock me on the forehead with a spoon. I was four years old.

The AJ-26 rocket engine is an export version of the Russian NK-33, and its turbopumps run O2 rich instead of the other way around. Total surprise to me on both counts.
