I know a kid, and I am not making this up, that went to a community college for 7 years. He finally graduated with his Associates in General Studies with an emphasis in.....

General Studies.

Seriously.

Seriously.
It took me nine years of night school. But I only need a handful of classes to get three other Associates degrees, since I had almost 100 units at graduation.

This kid was full time. For 7 years. To get a 2 year degree.

I don't know how the hell he managed it...

Was he there for the women? Because I could have stayed in college forever, with that many cute girls to choose from.

Except for nursing schools, I have never seen any chicks at a 2 year college that are hot enough to hang around for 7 years. Anywhere.

Also, it was a tiny freakin' school, about 400 students.

Sorry to hear that. I went there until I was 26, and there were always cute girls that didn't have issues with the age difference.

Middle aged women going back to school usually don't mind young whipper snappers.

I think I'm going to throw up. Legal aid rejected me, they don't deal with divorces. They told me to contact this pro bono group, I spent days trying to reach someone there to get into a session tonight, they took too long in replying, I can't go tonight. So they hooked me up with *another* agency, the woman who was taking my information down said "we only deal with Chinese people." I went dead silent, it was either that or start screaming. I guess she made a mistake saying that, I dunno. She took the rest of my info down but it was a long and painful phone conversation, she couldn't understand the difference between "separated" and "divorced" and when I said I was a student she asked what grade. I was completely confused...grade?! She wanted to know if it was University or College.

I haven't even filed for divorce yet or the documents in regards to my ex husband disappearing into thin air. Fun aint even started yet. Ugh.

Morning all. Best part of today - it's not Monday! Weather is still nasty out, damp and cold and overcast. Been raining / misting / foggy now for going on 3 days.
