****A Holidays Foo Contest Winners: Christmas Carols? Youtube or other video

You have to perform them and upload them to a video service like Youtube. They can be instrumental, vocal/instrumental, or acapella. We on the staff will select the four best videos, and the winners of course, get to select who gets their extras. In the case of a member already haing Titanium, they can transfer their Titanium win to another member.
  • 1st prize: a free Titanium for you and 3 people of your choice (You get to be a secret santa)
  • 2nd prize: a free Titanium membership for you and 2 people of your choice
  • 3rd prize: a free Titanium membership for you and one person of your choice
  • Honorable mention: Free Titanium for you.

And to get stuff started, just to get the ball rolling, here's me!

So, let's see your videos! Ishould mention: No more ads, embedded video, and they are lifetime memberships. No expiration.

A Christmas Carol, or I'd take a Christmasy Hip Hop mix, whatever makes you feel Christmasy and is musical. Get creative! Given your talent of fire dance, I'd take a Fire Dance routine from you to a Christmas Carol.

Here is 40 minutes of Christmas Music by the Men's singing group I started. Take your choice of carols.

http://ourwebs.info/XYZXMASMOVIEALL.wmv

I am 2nd from left, frequently hidden by the guy on the left end.

We did the same program to 5 nursing homes, our church and a couple of other churches this December. Just no video this time.

I have a solo in the middle of the video.

Tom, when's the deadline? I've already recorded the song ("Spike Bike's Christmas" - to the tune of Jingle Bells), but it'll take me a few days to put together enough quality video to accompany it.

Adam Sandler and Save Ferris pretty much cornered the market on that. But good job pointing out that it should be a holiday video.

Yes, Hannukah is fine, as is Kwanza, or even Solistice. Let's just make it a Holiday Video, as Brian just suggested. Thanks, Brian.

Dec 25th. I'll log in the evening of Christmas Day and close the thread. We'll start the judging, then.

Hey Brian, you need to do a Mettallica-like cover of a Christmas song for this. It'd be cool as all get out.

It's been done, and far better than I could ever do.

So, Luddite, are you going to perform a video segment? The thread idea is to do a carol or holiday song for this and it's you doing it.

Hey, so I don't have a video camera and therefor, don't really feel like I can participate in this. That said, I would happily accept one of the "secret santa" gift memberships! So, you know, winner dudes, remember your friend (who you probably don't even know) and hook a brother up, please. Merry Christmas!

We'll just send you a Mac Book with built in camera so you can make the winning video yourself.

Yes, or playing an instrument, or doing an interpretive dance would count, I suppose. You have to make the video, and perform in it in some way. That's about as far as I can stretch this without making it "Post anyone's video and I'll throw a free titanium" contest.

The singers and band are all dads at my sons' elementary school. I am somewhere in there. The MC is our little league baseball coach. And we just got done doing this again this AM for 2009! It was so cool to see 550+ kids all singing and having fun.
