I was in briefly.

When my true appearance was revealed to them, they put a paper bag over my head and kicked me out.

I bet that site gets a lot of advertising from plastic surgeons, Dynagym reps, and Mary Kay ladies.

My gawd, what a bunch of snobs.

My wife of 25 years is insanely beautiful... to me. And I don't give a damn what a bunch of people whose contribution to the world is that they are pretty think.

As much as a Sasquatch can be considered so, I'm extremely handsome.
It's a dubious honour; like being the smartest kid in summer school.

..ahem... we prefer the term "phatty."

I just read the CNN article... total publicity stunt. How are they going to know who's put on pounds over the holidays? Looks like it's pretty easy to get a few million dollars (at least) worth of free publicity from reuters and cnn.

A site for people that *think* they're hot and are uninterested in anyone who doesn't look good to them (no other exclusions apply)?

Sounds like you could find some real winners there...

Agreed. It might be interesting to come back in 10 years and see what it has morphed in to though. Like any social group they'll end up with an odd set of ideals which may end up making them stick out like a sore thumb just as much as it keeps the "fatties" out.

This is the kind of site, that with enough planning (at another site) could go very "wrong". Just get some good looking people to vote in some "regular guys and gals" and then just vote in whomever you want!
