anyone have a pilates reformer?

I'm considering buying a pilates reformer to use at home, but the only brand I am familiar with is Stott and those are imported from Canada and are very expensive. In some cases they are 2-3x the price of other brands. I've taken enough classes to know that I like working with reformers, but at most gyms you can't use them unless you are taking regular classes and/or private lessons. It would be nice to use one whenever I want.

Has anyone purchased a reformer for home use or know someone who has? I'm wondering if the Stott reformers are that much better or if it's a case of you get what you pay for. any ideas?
