December 2010 Foo Photo Contest - We have a winner!

The theme for December is a picture you have taken from inside your home of something outside, chosen by October's winner, Chris.

Try to make the image a view from your house, but since that might not be possible for everyone, you can submit photos taken from inside any dwelling looking out.

Theme: Inside Looking Out
Rules: You must be the photographer
One entry per month
Try to make the image a recent one.

Good luck everyone!

Joe Pesci would walk all over you in Herman Munster's court.

I've given up the reigns on these contests but I would rule that if the vehicle is used as a dwelling, then yes.

Does it have to be specifically shot through glass? Would a picture taken from the balcony of a hotel room be acceptable?

From the point of view of inside of a dwelling looking out, no mention of glass.

Sometimes I think we should have a photo.d thread (.d was a discussion newsgroup in the days of internet news)...

But in interpreting the theme, I think half the fun is to take what the theme is as you interpret it. Don't ask permission, don't explain how it fits the theme. If it harmonizes with people in terms of composition, execution and creative interpretation of the theme, you have accomplished your goal. That is the challenge as I see it. YMMV.

^^ This. I believe the theme was intended to get people to be creative. Interpret how you see fit.

This is from our previous house. I figure it's recent in that it's post-childbirth so it's the same phase of life I am currently in...

Taken from the car yesterday, I've been known to sleep in it from time to time!
