Yeah, I debated just posting that alone. I decided it really needed the context of the place to amp it up.

There was a couple with a photographer shooting pictures in prep for a wedding in the near future she moved away and stepped into that light and I shot quickly.

Took a little family trip to the Outer Banks early this week. We were also witness to the Hatteras lighthouse being moved further inland 20 years ago to keep it from going into the sea, an amazing engineering feat to move something this tall & heavy.
1999

2019

1999.
This was quite the feat. That is truly amazing. Also nice that they engraved the names of the lighthouse keepers in those stones.

Isn't that a killer combo for a pocket camera?

It certainly does the job enough to not bother with a bigger camera in a backpack. My only gripe is depending on how the shots composed there's a lot of distortion out to the corners.

Which model are you using? My 2 XL has some pincushion and I do wish they would incorporate some correction (or a better lens) but even with some of the rectilinear stuff I do it does OK as it is.

Mine's the first pixel they brought out. They were highly rated for there camera when released but guess things have improved a lot since then.
