It's also a shame that your claim about Coke getting in trouble is not really supported. Cocaine has not been used in the formula since 1929. Prior to that, there was very little in the product.

They got in trouble in the 60's also. They got in trouble not to long ago in Paris and they found 800 pounds of cocaine on the assembly line but nice try. Coke will always try to be sneaky with cocaine to force people to drink and stay addicted to there nasty tasting pop.

Why Does Coke Give Me Cold-Like Symptoms?
I've had some friends who did a full work-up of allergic response to various foods and environmentals. It's amazing what one can react to, yet not really even know it.
Over the years, I've never felt my best when consuming moderate amounts of sodas. Too much sugar, for me, but there's also something (I suspect) in the artificial sweeteners they use that disagrees with me. Invariably, if I consume different foods that also have those same artificial things, I feel equally wonky.
Cleanest I feel, with liquids: water. Assuming the rest of the diet is on the "level" and doesn't have all the artificial stuff (that comes with most packaged items), then within weeks I begin to feel much "cleaner" (for lack of a better term). Fewer to no reactions to foods, feeling lighter after even moderate portions of whatever, seemingly better able to process things. And, if the research studies are to be believed, I also bet that my gut flora and resulting downstream impacts are much-improved when "going clean" on the fluids intake.
