How big is your music collection/library?
I have 2 main folders. One is nicely organized by /Artist/Album/Song and has 11,551 songs in 74Gb (high quality mp3s). The other folder is a mess, with 9,312 songs on 40Gb.
So, in total I have about 20k songs, from the earliest of Grateful Dead to the latest of Beyonce.

I have an endless supply in the jukebox known as my brain. I've forgotten more songs than a lot of people know.

On this computer I have about 80 GB of music.
I have a 1 TB external drive with 785 GB of blues, jazz and early rock and roll.
I have no idea how many tracks it is, but I have spent a lot of time cataloguing.

as of tonite according to itunes: 35,698 songs = 103.7 days totaling 236.49 gb.
got a few doubles but not that many. still an artist/album format guy so that's how it's organized.
always enjoy lending friends the portable hard drive and telling them they've "got a week...go to town."
mainly 60's to just released rock in all its many derivations and jazz 1950-1974.

We don't have a lot of stuff in digital form only - my wife had uploaded lots of her Cds to our HD (to put on her iPod) but apparently even 1 TB fills up fast that way, so I deleted most of them.
I still have about 300 cassettes, a few thousand LPs (I got rid of MANY albums over the years - I probably have owned well over 10,000 in my day), a few dozen 45s and EPs, and maybe 200 CDs. I used to own some 78s and a few dozen 8 track tapes but ditched all those many years ago, mostly b/c I had a hard time finding a good working phonograph and tape machine, respectively.
My biggest lament was selling off my old JBL Veronas. My God, those sounded great. They just took up too much room so when I moved into an apartment bldng, they had to go. My big regret was never being able to afford a nice McIntosh tube setup to pump through those....

I also once owned about two dozen vintage tube amps (guitar and bass), most of those were sold for space concerns and to pay off some other debts. I must have owned at least 50 guitars over the years, most of them very cheap crap, held together by scotch tape and elmers glue. I still own two amps for practical playing purposes and 8 guitars and a bass. I'd love to sell most of those guitars but this economy is too hostile to selling such stuff.

Roughly 100+ gigs, I really don't know exact numbers. I filled a 500 gig once, but it was lost by someone I let use it. Never again.
I don't listen to anything post ~70 or pre 90, IMO that was the worst years of music aside from a few. I hate all sorts of 80's music and the 70's were just odd. I didn't live through those periods so maybe I "just don't understand."
I've got anything from Janis Joplin and Johnny Cash to Joel Ortiz and Murs. I'm a hip hop fiend but I love all sorts of music. 500+ gigs is an easy amount to collect but it takes some work haha. Some of the best music made is being made today.

I have some pretty well-stuffed folders on two separate computers, but since I don't actually listen to any of the music stored on those computers, I have no idea how much music is there. I'm just hoarding it for some potential future use...or bragging rights (although it's pretty hard to brag if you have no idea how much you've got).
On the other hand, I know I own ~325 CDs and ~50 LPs.

I'm salvaging an R&B collection from an older machine that crashed. Seems all the music survived. It's gonna be a nice addition to my main library...

Probably only a few gigabytes. For the last few years I've streamed music (Pandora, Youtube) instead of downloading.
