I thought the frothed milk was suspicious as we do not have any milk in the office.!!!!

Did I just eat most of a bag of TJ's Sweet Potato Chips? Yes, yes I did.

My neighbour insists that her cat being outside and loose is fine because he's an "outdoor cat". He hangs out on my lawn, and drives my Lab-who is always either inside or tied up-crazy. More than a bit tired of it.

bigbenaugust 12-11-13 12:47 PM

Let the dog off of the rope and have him chase the kitty for a while.

This would work. or just trap the cat and take it to the local RSPCA/pound. When your neighbour asks tell her than her cat was wandering loose on your property and harrassing your dog so you took it to the pound.

gnome 12-11-13 04:28 PM

Although as a cat person and not a dog person. I don't see a problem with a cat terrorising the neighbourhood dogs.

EthanYQX 12-11-13 04:42 PM

I haven't even spoken to her about it much yet. It's illegal here though and she knows that, so maybe sometime soon I'll trap him. It's not the cat's fault though so I'm not planning on letting my dog terrorize him. Plus eye for an eye almost always ends in trouble.

I also hate cats, so I'm trying not to let that cloud my judgement.

Great, forgot to bring socks this morning. Hope this isn't a sign of how much today will suck.

Wear your cycling socks.

digesting a ham & swiss on sourdough, drinking a green tea, and waiting for someone to put together a conversion table.

Friday. I have a three day weekend to look forward to. And catching up with a friend. :D

bigbenaugust 12-13-13 09:30 AM

I was writing Christmas cards last night and thinking about the year... holy crap, what a year.

25 when I left the house this morning, it made it to 35 by the time I came in from. Chugged in from the church this morning to find that my boss' boss got us 4 dozen Krispy Kreme donuts... and no insulin. ;) :P

Anyways, I am building a new app server cluster for one of the departments that is running 40 apps all by themselves.

ModoVincere 12-13-13 09:33 AM

waiting for a conference call where I will ask, for the third time, for someone to provide a conversion table so that I can marry up two sets of data for them.

jhawk 12-13-13 12:28 PM

Staring longingly at my empty tea cup, and even harder and more longingly at the empty cookie jar. I want Oreos and Tea.

An older women just hit me with her Cadillac mirror. I was behind a car at a right turn stop sign and the Cadillac kept creeping forward and squeezing me next to the curb. I was stopped and she tried to get around me, hitting my handlebar. I think she thought I intentionally hit the mirror with my hand because she started yelling at me. The mirror folded back but she made my dog jump onto the curb.

Pretty typical for old women in Cadillacs. Generally self righteous old bags who honestly believe that whatever the hell stupid thing they have to get to is the most important thing in the world.

Theyre also the the ones doing 15 under the speed limit in snow because they have ten year old summer tires on their piece of **** DeVille.

Yeah, I'm tired of my daily commute. Why do you ask?

Nesting...

In other news... there is snow on the Pyramids of Egypt for the first time in 112 years.

Don't forget the "Ho, ha ha, guard, turn, parry, dodge, spin, ha, thrust, sproing!"

Was it long and dark, shiny and black?

Went to the Archery range this morning and worked a little with the coach. Still trying to master the proper back tension in a proper shot...but I was shootin 2 1/2 groups at 18m, which aint too bad. If I can do that in a FITA shoot, I should be scoring 520-540, which is pretty good territory.
Just put up the Christmas tree. Waiting for the kid to get here and we'll decorate it then. Probably go get Mexican for dinner tonight....
Tomorrow I'm replacing the brake pads in the Honda civic and try to get my dad's Christmas gift.
