I saw that. Who expects a crossbow anywhere at any time? This isn't the 1400s.

My guess is that they won't ever find the passenger ... or bother even looking for him.

This is just going to lead to vigilante groups armed with Welsh longbows. Pretty soon, it's all out medieval gang warfare; people being woken at all hours by sword fights in the streets.

Y'all make me chuckle, thanks!

BTW you'd be surprised how popular and common crossbows actually are. Strange....

Any kid throwing rocks should be expecting SOMETHING bad to come his way, even if a crossbow bolt wasn't top of the list.

was the suv stopped at a light? I'm just trying to figure out how there was time for the 2 boys to throw several rocks at it and then for the passenger to grab the crossbow and hit the target. If the suv was moving, that's a heck of a shot.

The boy was shot in the right side and was taken to a hospital. The San Diego Union-Tribune says his injuries are not life-threatening.

Crossbow guy needs to spend more time at the range.

I believe they were at an intersection. Not sure if it was a light or stop. But the Rav4 did in fact pull over after it was hit by the rocks.

Nope, I wouldn't have expected that. I've experienced an attack by a battering ram, defended myself with a steel studded club and shield, I've had my attacks repelled by burning hot liquids but I wouldn't have expected a bolt by a crossbow.
