That was what I thought at first, but now I'm thinking the hub flanges might be large enough that it is rolling on them.

Isn't there a worse chance that a rock might be flung into the screen as opposed to turning it around the other way?

But I guess they weren't really thinking in the first place.

I'll bet if the motorcycle got going at a good clip and she lifted that TV overhead she could fly...

I hit a rabbit while going about 40 on a dirt bike (motorcycle). On a narrow path with a field of 2' high grass on both sides. Never saw him until after I hit him.
He went at least 20 feet in the air. He ran away, before I could see if he was OK.

I had a similar experience with a California desert jackrabbit while driving through the California desert back around 1990 on Hwy 395. I saw it sitting on the other side of the road and thought it would turn and run back into the low desert scrub brush as I got closer. Nope, just as I got to that point it scampered right in front of me and I felt it go 'thump' under a car wheel. No damage to the car but it did made a heck of a mess under there (desert jackrabbits are big, but skinny and boney with only a little fur on their bodies) .
