Funny, I was thinking about this as a theme while I watched a huge flock of ibis rise up from a field recently. Unfortunately, I'm never in the right place at the right time with my camera when it comes to birds.

No, it's not too hard ...
I only added a texture layer on the original capture (follow the link on my flickr and you will find which one)
and then some adjustment on exposure, contrast and tones. Software is 'LiveQuartz' for mac.
Please excuse my very poor english ...

Mac, that is a cool shot. The post processing gives it a look that reminds me of very early color photos.
