need help on the this

I badly need help with my Master thesis survey.
It is about the factors influencing consumer use of self-services technologies. The survey is completely anonymous and requires no personal information.

If you have 5 minutes, can you please fill in this survey: http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...osting-surveys

Sincerely thanks!

Welcome to Bike Forums! What kind of riding do you do? Do you have pics of your bike? Please, tell us more about yourself! Oh and by the way, please post your survey in the appropriate forum.

Thanks!

Please do not laugh at me, but I have only my citybike (red ) which is it pretty good for my everyday activities and a compulsory 25-40 km tour once a week in all kinds of weather.
Yes, I like biking and am proud of my recent record of more than 360 km in the hilly Scottland (on the rent bike though).

I do consider a mountain bike, but I have a couple of problems:
- how to choose the one, where I do not have to struggle with gears that do not work ( the common problem of all rent bikes I have tried in USA and Scottland)
- where and how to keep it so that it does not get stolen :-( (I do not mean the locks, they are not enough..)

Any ideas on this?

Thanks!

P.S. the survey post has been moved into the correct forum ( sorry for not noticing it before)

Thanks for posting it in the appropriate forum! If you check out the Mountain Bike area here, there are a lot of people that can help guide you in picking out the bike that would best suit your needs.

The gears on the bike can be adjusted so as not have any issues shifting but with rentals, who knows how the bike is actually treated. Before you take it out, I would suggest you giving it a test run and asking the person you are renting from to adjust it for you. It's a simple fix. No reason for you to have to pay for a bike to use and it not function properly. That only will discourage you from riding.
