I also miss @CbadRider.

What I can't imagine is how anybody would miss @Doohickie or @jsharr. Big targets.

Anyone ever stumble across a really old thread and see someone was banned back in 2006 or whatever and then go down a rabbit hole looking up 15-year-old threads trying to figure out the story?

No? Um... me neither.

I miss Sixty Fiver and FBinNY. I believe both are doing well, but are spending time on other pursuits rather than talking/arguing about bikes on BF. They both generously provided kind advice based on years of experience.

BF members you miss.

@Maelochs was banned for a month on 6/29 and I haven't seen any posts by (him) since; last visit was 6/29, last post 6/28.

I also liked reading @FBinNY for his level-headed posts; last visit 3/26/19, last post 11/16/18.

…For those Fifty-Plus and older, I'm reminded of that frequently repeated 1960 TV version of Peter Pan with Mary Martin, in which Tinkerbelle was fading away, and Peter Pan pleaded with the TV audience,"If you believe, clap your hands; don't let Tink die."

Easthill in another member I miss, but I know the background on her leaving, I don't blame her for heading elsewhere, but the other party is still active, and gets up in a lather like a little kid, when someone brings up the foolishness they started and caused a good member to head out.

There were many people that helped me out when I first joined up here. Denver, Stapfam, Jim from Boston, Jim Mueller, Easthill, Miss Kenton, the various Diegos, and a host of others, all got me off to a good start here.

I had some great mentors when I joined up, everyone here was supportive and encouraging to me...
