I would say it's been an unlucky day for me. I had a 10am flight out of Denver getting into Charlotte at 7:30pm. It was oversold and I volunteered to give up my seat, which ended up putting me on a nonstop getting into Charlotte at 3:30pm. So yeah, that flight got canceled and now I'm stuck in the Denver airport and won't get home until Booooo.

I'd go take a bus to a hotel, or go downtown or something.

I think if I had the energy I would. I've been to AZ, CA, CO, WY, NE, and SD this week and I'm running on empty.

I was stuck in Denver for a day back in '06. In a rare travel mistake, we missed Frontier's 45-min baggage deadline, so I sent my fiancee on the plane and stuck around for the next flight with our suitcase... well, the next night's flight as the daytime one was full. Grabbed the last car they had, drove to the nearest hotel, slept, and hit the museums the next day.

I'm a nerd. I hit the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden and the Forney Museum of Transportation in downtown Denver before heading back to the airport for the wifi 4 hours early for my flight. Then they wouldn't take that blasted suitcase because I was too early! The nerve of these people!

I'm immune to the 13th since my birthday is on the 13th.

Had a conversation about being "unlucky" once. Sometimes trading in all your old luck for new luck seems like a good idea, not a bad one.
