Paragliding to the top of Mont Blanc

Wow, the weather was unusually calm, so some paragliders caught the thermals up to the top of Mont Blanc, at 15,782 feet or 4,810 meters. The guy doing the video sure got a surprise when he got to the top.

The video: The Perfect Day

What a cool video. It's like the exact opposite of all those GoPro videos launching off cliffs!

Dang, that was cool. Incredible to see all those gliders at that altitude.

Neat. Too bad they used mostly white lettering for the translation subscripts. I didn't even know they were there for awhile. (Just trivial, don't mind me.)

That's amazing that all of them were out to take advantage of the perfect weather that day. It would scare me to death.

We also watched several people paragliding at the Matterhorn yesterday. It looks so graceful.
