Things that will vanish this decade..

We've all read the various reports about what things are going to disappear by the end of this decade. So, opinions: What do you think will vanish this decade? At the top of almost everyone's list: Consumer land line phones. No arguments here, they are definitely on the way out. Heck, if you are in your 20s, the idea of a phone you need to plug in to use is probably a silly idea. So, what else?

-Newspapers.

-Printed books. I'll miss real books.

-AOL. Once the king of the internet. Anyone still using it?

What else?

Incandescent light bulbs, other than in special applications like maybe an oven light where high heat tolerance is required.

I think we can all agree upon land-line phones (maybe even non-"smart" phones?), CDs for sure. Records seem to be making a comeback due to sound quality.

non-flash storage
physical computer software (as in on a disk)
incandescent and compact fluorescent lighting

I also think that the last shot in the Civil War will be fired before the decade is out. I think a few crewmen from the Shenandoah are still lurking off the Alaskan coast.

We still have room for those renegades up here at Johnsons Island Confederate prison.

Land-line phones? Not a chance. There are still huge areas of the U.S. alone that have extremely marginal or non-existent cell service, and never will - it's just not economically feasible. Heck, I live eight miles from the center of the 4th-largest city in New York, and I can't get adequate cell service at my house because I live in a deep stream valley. Physics wins every time.
