Yea, they sure do "never look back" alright. Programs won't work on a 2 year old OS. Apple monitors won't plug into a 2 year old Mac Pro. 15,477,328 different dip**** proprietary connectors, most of them for video. It goes on, and on. If it were ANY other company doing half the stupid things xenophobic Apple does, they'd be laughed out of business.
And I'm an "Apple guy" - but I'm seriously thinking of going back to windows. Unfortunately, Windows 8 is so crippled that it isn't even a contender...

The best part of Apple computers is the ability to use Windows programs as well.
While I am an iPhone fan, I still carry a BB as well. They both have benefits.

I'm a platform slút. I've used a lot of platforms including IBM 360/370, VM, Superset, PC, Mac, Linux, even the Etch A Sketch Animator.
I don't understand Mac fanboys though. It's just another platform. Back in the 80's I used to laugh when I'd hear about how Macs were so great with graphics, and not one of them had a 3D program that could touch what we were doing on PCs. First decent 3D on a Mac I saw was when Symbolics ported itself over to the Mac Ivory.
