I hated "sense and sensability" more than any movie Ive ever seen. I know to some its a timeless classic but I just dont care about some upity victorian chicks trying to land a rich guy to take care of them. puke!

My wife and I like most of the Clint Eastwood westerns but High Plains Drifter was pretty bad - especially the 2 sexual assault scenes (where the women were grateful afterwards)

Jane Austen only wrote one book, IMO.

No hate for Grease 2? I lost a 3-1 vote on a double date circa 1983. I wanted to go see something manly and cool but my best friend voted against me. (He told me later she wasn't worth it). Anyway, I didn't put up as big a fight as I should have because I had a bit of a cwush on Michelle Pfeiffer. Big mistake. doG, that was a long evening.

I've heard anecdotal evidence that if you happen to speak Bushman, "The Gods must be Crazy" is a lot more entertaining because most of those clicks and clucks were the extras making disparanging remarks about the film crew.

I wish to nominate Wavelength, made in 1967 by Michael Snow. Imagine an empty room, with a limited view of the street outside. Now imagine a camera in the room. The camera has a zoom lens. Snow takes 45 minutes to go from the closest zoom setting to the most distant zoom setting.

It's claimed to be a landmark in cinematography. I took a Film and Photography class in college. They would show a film once in class and you were expected to watch it again as a "lab". I was the only one in class who even showed up for that "lab".

No votes for any of the qatsi trilogy? I've only seen Powaqqatsi all the way through and I thought it was awesome. But I can see that it would be a acquired taste.

What about Road House? I can't help but watch it when it's on, but it's not a good movie. The Jeff Healey music rocks though.

Transylvania 6-5000. The only movie my wife and I ever walked out on. It made Rocky Horror look good. It made "Sleeper" look good.

In the "its so bad its good" category: Event Horizon. Kinda grows on you.

I can't help but watch that if it's on. Swayze's done a couple of worse ones, though.

Check out Black Dog sometime.

How about Swayze and Snipes as drag queens in To Wong Foo... Always good for a laugh.

How about The Car Starring
the future Mr. Babs Streisand.

Now, I love a good grindhouse movie, but this one... Just didn't work at all.

It was so bad that I can't even recall the title. I must of blacked it out.

Late 90s or early 2000s.

Set on a cruise ship - action film where bad guys attack a government summit meeting (think APEC, G20 etc) afloat.

Full of B grade US actors and a few C grade Australian soapie starlets.

I started watching in the full knowledge that it was C grade straight to DVD crud, but I couldn't stomach more than 15 minutes.

Only film I've stopped watching.

Only bad movie I can think of set on a cruise ship is Speed 2... Now that was a bad movie. Willem Dafoe is good in a few things, but seeing him in a movie is almost assuredly a sign that it's bad.

Out to Sea with Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau was a pretty bad cruise ship movie. It might be safe to say that all cruise ship movies suck.

I really liked the Unsinkable Molly Brown but I wouldn't really pigeonhole the Titannic as a "cruise ship".

I've been waiting for this one to come up! I came close to gouging my eyes out with a pocketknife while watching it... I wonder if Redbox will refund my $1.27...
