I worked Happy Hour. Highlander II was on the TVs.
Highlander II was more depressing than a room full of drunks on a Monday.

Or just about every high school teen angst party movie.

Paris, Texas. A two-hour hole in my life. Not just a hole, a black hole that nearly sucked the spirit right out of me. I know, it's considered some kind of frickin' classic, gets 5/5 stars, Kurt Cobain's favorite movie. It's like you took all the sadness from all of Hemingway's novels, magnified it by 1000, then compressed it into two hours.

Return of the Jedi was the betrayal. From carbonite to teddy bears just for the merchandising.

I love Hemingway, but too much without a break can be fatal.

Are we talking "bad" or "so bad it's good"? I like the former, have a huge collection of B movies.

Johnny Depp too (except Ed Wood, that was awesome).

Speaking of which, Alice in Wonderland. I'm so put off by Johnny Depp in weird makeup I can't watch Edward Scissor Hands anymore.

Ep 1-3, as in Phantom Kiddie Menace, Clown Wars, and Revenge of the Lisp.

Ep 4-6 were almost as much thinly veiled commercials (like 80's cartoons), but they were more well rounded and much better acting.

Someone really needed to grow a pair and tell George that he desperately needed help writing the romantic dialogue. Hell, I could've written that pile of barf. And is Hayden Christensen really that bad of an actor, or did George direct him to act at the level of a pathetic Spock?

I knew that we would eventually find something to agree on.

Disagree with you on tats and poseur lawyers, dentists and CPAs.

Agree with you 100% on Eraserhead. That David Lynch is one seriously messed up little man.
