Rudy T. Resigns

Sad, really sad. Only made it halfway through the season.

The players must be feeling like they just have been orphaned. They have some good players besides Kobe, and have a good potential. I always thought Lamar Odom was great when he was playing for Clipps. I hope they won't be discouraged by this.

Rudy is a truly decent man in a sport increasingly dominated by criminals and thugs. Being in the same room with Kobe Bryant was likely making Rudy's skin crawl. If judges and courts were not "celebrity struck", the NBA would be holding its games inside prisons.

There is no place in the NBA anymore for someone such as Rudy T. In my town of three million people, the NBA is down to maybe 100,000 "hardcore" fans. The great majority of folks here would not miss the Rockets or the Lakers for a New York minute.

Rudy T. has sure had some bad luck in his life, hasn't he? It all started with Kermit Washington. It's too bad. He always seemed like such a good guy.

Who would want to coach the Lakers now? The whole Phil Jackson coming back thing is a joke. I'll crap my pants if that happens.
