Hahaha. We had two Chevettes when I was a youngun'. One was inherited, in my father's defense.

Is that a Chev Chevette? The Vauxhall version looked a lot better.

You have to work hard to top the 1967 Mohs Ostentatiene Opera Sedan.

The AMC Pacer (around 1970?). What were the designers thinking when they came up with this?:

The French-made Deux Cheveux (made by Citreon or Peuguoet). Its original purpose was as a post-WWII utilitarian car for the average Frenchman, but it long outlived its purpose and was made up until the mid-1990s. Two cylinder engine and origianal had net seats (like a beach chair).

I've always had a strange attraction to the pacer and gremlin for some reason. The pacer wagon is even more ridiculously ugly, especially wood paneled of course. And the LT1 roadmaster kicked butt. And a guy on the benz forums has one of those citroen 2cv's and loves the hell out of it for some reason.
Here's a godawful custom R129 SL

The HHR and the PT snoozer have always irritated me

And this godawful thing

And every box-shaped small suv....

And not just any Gremlin... the Levis Gremlin... with seats made of Levis denim material... oh so classic '70s.

Here's the back end of the Buick Roadmaster I posted above. Ugly, ugly, ugly . . .

As BenzFanatic mentions above they had a big, powerful engine, but why did the Buick designers put that engine under such and ugly wrapper? Yuck!

Don't know if this is ugly, but the body is so 'Plain Jane' I'll throw it up here for consideration. The Ford Fairmont, a box-on-wheels:

It actually was a nice riding vehicle.

My friend's dad had a fairmont a couple of years back.. He bought it simply because it was in MINT condition. Practically no miles, had never seen a chicago winter, etc. Such a stereotypical old man vehicle; boxy, boring, slow, and smooth riding.
