Yes, St. Patricks Day is coming. Since my roommates and myself throw stupid/crazy theme parties, he mentioned having a St. PaDDys Day party.
Was just wondering if anyone knew how to make green beer. Food coloring ok? Beer? Probably just a keg or two of Natty Light.
Any sugestions?
Thanks.

Agreed, I only drink dark beers, so color doesn't affect it.
That being said, most beer distributors pre-color kegs of beer. If you arrange it with your local keg merchant, you can probably get one. Or, you just put a drop of blue food coloring in each cup before you pour.

There is a food coloring that's biodegradable and harmless. Just check the grocery stores for it. They use it in Chicago to dye the river green every year.

How are you planning on getting the dye in the keg?
The only beer you should serve on a proper St. Patrick's day celebration is Guinness
