You either get them or you don't

I always find in general, Americans and women don't. Canadians, Europeans and men in general do. Musicians definitely do.

What about you? Be nice now. They are entering their 60's.

How do figure that Rush is not popular in the U.S? They tour large (~20k seat) arenas and their shows sell out.

Men, real men find them insufferable. While I may like their politics their presentation is like, if I may repeat myself fron the "LIes" thread, akin to the sound of several hungry cats trapped in a 55 gallon barrel.

I crewed for them on the Vapor Trails tour. They sell out the odd 20k seat arena. Some shows were as low as 5k. Canadian, Brazilian and European shows all sell out.

I'll always have a soft spot for Rush, but I can understand why people don't like them... The vocals mostly. That song you posted was awesome. They're still rockin' pretty hard.

I was pleasantly surprised in the mid '70s when Rush discovered the rest note. It really helped their music.

Moving Pictures was a masterpiece. If that was their only album they would go down as one of the all-time great bands. The problem is 90% of their portfolio is pure garbage. Can't stand any of their stuff other than MP. So much talent...so little good music. They are like the Sheldon Cooper of rock music. Insufferable brilliance.

Too commercial or mainstream. I would say 2112 was their masterpiece.

I am not a fan of Rush, but I prefer them to Celine Dion and Justin Bieber. Can you please take those two back and send Rush down to the US instead?
