Why would someone give their number but not respond?
Hey, I finally met this chic I have been crushing on for a while. We met at a show(concert). We were talking for a while and I thought things were going great. She said she was into bike polo, and I said I was interested in watching, and then she just wrote her phone number down for me. AWSOME! Then, the next evening, I texted her something along the lines of: "Hey whats up? We met the other night. Want to go out for coffee sometime?"
She never responded. WTF? Why would she give me her number with no intention to respond back to me? I dont understand women. Maybe she lost or broke her phone on that particular day, but I HIGHLY doubt it. Maybe I should wait and then send her a text like:"Not interested?". Just to get closure. I dont like the game playing garbage. Anyway, just had to vent.LOL

o.O I think you need to relax, she'll get back to you in when she's ready if she's ready... just comes with the territory of women, we pay the dues to get the prize in the end... and somehow they make us very very happy while driving us very very crazy.

OP, she is playing a game. If you want to be in a relationship with a game player, then keep texting her--she will reply on her own sweet time.
OTOH, if you want to spend time with someone who is genuinely interested in you and shares your interests, then move on.
Life is too short to waste time on game players.

This one was a bust... a non starter. Flakier than a snow storm.
If that is the way she treats you when you first meet, imagine how badly you will get beaten up when she is comfortable with you.
Get yourself a puppy or a happy little dog and go out regularly in the park. Guaranteed to meet somebody.

She doesn't text. Can't stand texting. Has an old style phone for it's simplicity. Favors folk music and camping outdoors... and cycling.
Call her, she doesn't text.

I have heard of this happening... have never experienced it myself.

The last woman who gave me her number is now my wife.

If she did give me a fake number, thats kind of scummy on her part. If she didnt like me, she should have made that clear when we were face to face. Rejection in person is alot better. Whatever, its her loss. I live in the city so I always end up running into the same people over and over. So im sure I will run into her again. And when I do, im not going to say a damn thing to her.LOL. Or even look her way.

This could be true, but its too easy these days as a guy to be considered creepy. Thats why I only give it one shot. I dont want to make an ass of myself
