I don't think there's any Beastie Boys on this 90's thread and they should be represented.
You guys know I'm infatuated with Emily Haines...the 2nd video is a live performance where she slips in some BBoys into the song Empty. A phone video from the crowd so it's not great quality (or even complete) but it shows her stage presence

Thought I'd bump this thread back up before it disappeared. Here's the HooDoo Gurus from about 1991, there last hit single. Any of you who have had a traveling sales job should relate to this:

I posted a few John Prine tunes in the 1980s thread so how about a few here, too. The monologue at the start of this first one is entertaining so I'm leaving it in:
and did you ever wonder what Jesus was up to between his childhood and when he "saw the light"? John Prine's got as good an idea as anybody . . .

I posted his 1978 novelty song 'H-A-T-R-E-D' in the other thread, but here's one of Tonio K's (Steve Kirkorian's) other tunes from the early 1990s. Great songwriter (he won a grammy for a song that Vanessa Williams and Brian McKNight recorded), too bad he stopped recording his own albums.

One more Patti Smith tune from the 1990s
