Shirley Temple - bye bye.

It was hard not to like her. A couple of random thoughts.

When I lived in the desert, one of my acquaintances had bought a house she had lived in at the height of her fame. It wasn't that big, but it did have high walls, a solid gate, a large yard and a nice swimming pool. When my friend bought it, he got it cheap because the previous owners it had used it as a place to make crack, so it needed a lot of work. It was at the top of a cove and it had a nice view.

And a trivia question. What kind of ship was the good ship lollipop?

I didn't know she was still living, and I thought she'd be much older.
RIP.

Me too. Too bad there aren't more child stars that can make the transition to adulthood like she did.

I also thought she was dead. I got interested and read a little... it seems she started a relationship with an older guy when she was 15yo, and married said guy when she was 17yo... with the guy being 7 years older. That kind of thing would prolly get you in jail nowdays.
