Even though she was 5' 2", Linda Rondstat could belt out a tune with a 10 ft voice. Sad to see that her singing career is now silenced by Parkinson's, getting old ain't for sissies.

Here's Chris Smither covering, Killing the Blues by Rowland Salley. Alison Krauss & Robert Plant covered this song too but Chris just owns it. As usual.

+1 on the song from Lillith Fair

Here's a new project I'm starting similar to Anthony with Marie Digby. Echosmith is a family band of really young siblings. born in '99,'97,96,&'93. They're very talented and clean cut. The only girl is the main singer and she looks remarkably like actress Amy Adams, especially the more recent videos - these 2 covers are some of their older recordings Pretty ambitious trying to cover Adele when you're 15, but can
Adele sing while checking her TXT's ?

I've been subscribed to Danielle Mohr for several years on YouTube. She's a fragile teenager really yet I can't say I've heard many young people sing with such a sense of the blues. She can be very entertaining too.

Covering Turning Tables by Adele. So many performers sing the words to Adele's songs but Danielle gets, Adele,

I normally don't like covers (I'm only posting the few I like). Few people can equal the original do-er of the song. However here's a great cover of a big 80's hit by Annie Lennox and somehow this worked. It came out around 1994 and was all over the radio. Here it is:
