I assume that guy was at fault? Can't really see enough developing context to tell

There was no developing context;
It was just 3 minutes of boring dashcam footage, with that one moment of action in the middle.

I told him "don't take this the wrong way, but I hope you get a flat, so it's worth your while lugging that thing around"

Haha. Looks like a telephone pole.

If it is really in Shanghai, they are probably migrant worker going home for the Christmas holiday!
Many in poor rural province only go home only once a year...so they bring home goodies they can carry with their hand and shoulder.
Some may think this is a stunt. But I think this might be real desperation to get home with whatever mean possible. The holiday travel rush is crazy over there.

Whoa, I wasn't actually talking about your post of the flying catapult-car, that apparently didn't load for me earlier; I was talking about the hit&run a couple posts earlier.

That's crazy! How did that car get launched in the air like that?!

Is it coming from that trailer? Maybe they had some aerosol can or something under it that blew up and launched it?

If you're talking about the one Shimagnolo posted, look closer, that's a trash can that blew out of the back of the landscapers truck and trailer that was about three lanes over.

OK now that you say trashcan I can see that's what it looks like. But as close as I look, it still seems to be flying up from behind that white pickup with the trailer. But OK.

I suspect they are using load bearing decals to help support all that weight.

They would help keep the frame laterally stiff but vertically compliant.

You're right, there's another pickup that you can barely see on the other side, and it's taking the offramp. That's were I see it coming from after closer inspection. So the trash can went over the top of the truck with trailer.

I suspect the Pats have too many "hands" player from offense in the backfield that doesn't know how to defend or tackle.
