TV shows that they need to bring back
I just watched the pilot for "the life and times of grizzly Adams" on you tube
That was a show I watched when I was a little kid. Seems to me that it was a quality television show, the kind they don't make anymore

I feel like most of the TV shows I'd want back either couldn't be done in this social climate or would just be bad remakes. Like the 3rd season of Twin Peaks that's coming out, there's no way they can relive the original glory. That being said, I'd love more Chuck,X-files, Northern Exposure, Andy Griffith, Picket Fences, Corner Gas, Lost maybe... So many.

Wanted to be this guy when I was a kid.
Edit to add, these may be back. I haven't ever really watch much TV, and haven't had one in over 20 years.

Heck, I'd like to see an updated, sexier version of Gilligan's Island.

None. No show ever should be brought back.
TV is like chewing gum, when you are done with it, spit it out and never chew it again.

METV started reruns of The Man From UNCLE recently. An episode I saw had guests, William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy and Werner Klemperer. Yhie was from 64, two years before Star Trek.

yeah. My duct tape stock could use a boost.
You can catch up on lots of old episodes here.

At the end of the show, they got all the male members of the audience to come to the front, and be the lodge members at the meeting. I saw myself walking across the stage in one episode.

It's fun to watch old shows as old shows. But redo's are just stupid. Most shows fold because the writers have exhausted the particular vein that the show explored.
And shows are usually reflections of their times. Leave it to Beaver was succeeded by Married with Children. A similar show now might be a couple of hipsters, trying to stay hipsters while confronted with raising kids. Things change.
What I've been watching the most lately is Allie Knight on youtube. A young lady manages to make a daily show of her life as an Over The Road truck driver. It's strangely intriguing.
I recommend that you watch them from the start. Unlike sitcoms, a slow story unfolds video by video.
Here is her show for 05-01-14

so much obsession with violence, brutality and cruelty by one person to another person. the current and recent past TV generation has been desensitized and don't know that they should be shocked by what they are seeing instead of accepting it as entertainment. I say we can use more of past years core values in entertainment

I tried to watch reruns of Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea a few years ago. Couldn't even sit thru a complete episode. I remember liking that show as a kid.
