If you can handle needles and have a plasma center like BioLife nearby start giving plasma it pays pretty well. I bought my fatbike with that plus a little eBay selling.

Probably within cycling distance for you:

Horse Racing | Poker | Dining | Group Events | Golf

Tampa Bay Downs--First post is 12:30, and there is $15,000 in the carryover for the pick 5. 50 cents can win it all.

Not sure how you get signed up, but I have a friend that does all kind of product reviews, takes part in market surveys etc for pay. I could ask him for you.

If you have problem solving skills, a mechanical aptitude and can follow detailed instructions look at freelance work on internet boards like Work Market and OnForce. A lot of what I think of as Level 1 to 3 IT work. You need a laptop, the ability to learn quickly and reliable transportation. I make nowadays between $300 and $750 a day.

What do you need the money for, and could you do without it?

For instance downgrading a car to one worth peanuts, with lower/no payments and liability-only insurance, is a great way to save; selling plasma to pay for a new Lamborghini is not.

Same goes for rent/roomates.

Any pharma labs in your area? Lots of people sign up for Phase 2 or 3 clinical drug trials and the pay can be quite good.

Money for savings, right now if I broke my leg, even with insurance I'd have a hard time paying the Dr. bills, like they would go into collections.
