Hey all, we need FOO POWER for Tom please. UPDATE: 2.26.15

You know that every once in a blue moon, I'll post of FOO POWER thread. For those of you who don't know, FOO POWER is when we as a Bike Forum family are asking for your prayers, hopes, finger crossing, blessing, - whatever floats your boat - in support of someone who is really really ill.

We've had a couple of Foo Power threads that have been very helpful in getting our member's spirits up and helping them to get that strength to fight whatever it is that is pulling them down.

So I ask of you all to please please give some FOO POWER to our very own Tom Stomcrowe, the site head Administrator.

As most of you have noticed, he's been ill the past year and has not shown a strong presence lately.

On 2/12 he suffered a major set back. After having his third stroke, he was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia and slight congestive heart failure. I did not mention any of this earlier because of respect for his privacy. But behind the scenes I have been keeping contact with his family and texting Tom to let him know that I'm thinking of him. He could not respond because frankly, he was not cognitive enough to do so. He was on a ventilator and feeding tube, and without going even further, a sort of life support if you may. He was able to contact me but he he is not out of the woods. He's still in intensive care.

I got permission to come here and ask for FOO POWER for Tom. So please, give him your support, your prayers, your well wishes and your love. I think our strength and belief in him will pull him through.

Thanks everyone.

Thanks for the update. I'm very to hear about the setback to what seemed to be a recovery process. Best wishes for clearing this shoal, and smooth sailing going forward.
