need help with profile edit
 

Hello to All,
All right I'll admit it when it come to Skype, MSN, YouTube and so on I don't have the handles that are required to post a profile....every time I try to post my bio etc. I am asked for Skype info and all the rest.....don't have them so no updates. What am I doing wrong, if I don't have the information and do not want to subscribe to it am I automatically out of the process, anyway to get around the required fields?
I have sent pm's to the moderators with no responses yet...so any advice would be most helpful.

You don't have to provide the Skype/ICQ/Youtube links if you don't want to (I didn't). You can choose to make your email visible or not. You can add a link to a "home page" if you would like (as long as it doesn't violate the Guidelines ;)) or not.

If you're wanting updates for any threads that you've subscribed to, you can make changes to the frequency (instant, daily, weekly, or none) in your settings. There's also a sticky here that explains the tagging feature (I've got mine disabled).

no1mad, thanks for the response...every time I try to make and save changes it say I have not filled out the required fields...asking for msn which i figured out was email and when i entered that it said Skype was invalid and so on down the line...so i must be doing it wrong.

What exactly are you hoping to accomplish? Whether you have any of those IM client accounts or not, they are merely optional here and provide another means of communication with other members of our Community who also use those. You would not get any BF subscription updates through those- just via your email (the one you provided when you created your account).
