Suppress PMs?
 

I find PMs problematic, mostly because they are well outside of my normal online workflow. Add to that the fact that each online forum is completely independent of all others, makes it all the worse. I would much rather that people send email if they want to contact me. Is there some flag I can set to turn PM links into mailto: URLs instead?

You can disable PMs and enable email from others in your account settings.

I personally prefer to have a copy (w/link) of the PM sent to my email.

Thanks. I do get an email of new PMs, but they all wind up in the same Gmail "conversation", making it harder than it should be to track active PMs independently. I will try enabling email and suppressing PMs to see how that works.
