Why can't I post photos with an iPad or iPhone?
Am I doing something wrong or is it just not possible to post photos with an iPad or phone? If so, tell me how. Every time I try on my iPad it fails. I can't click and drag previously posted photos and it won't let me add new ones. No problems using a desktop computer.

IBobi, doing as you have suggested above lets me upload 1(!!!) photo, could you please explain why the "upgrade" is clunky, dated and generally frustrating?
(I am annoyed at the changes not you personally.)

As the title of the thread states it is iPad that I am having an issue with . . . I am going to Go Advanced and then scrolling down to Manage Attachment, selecting from my device up to 5 attchments(photos) and then submitting them to the post with only one photo coming up.
I will try now for you,
EDIT, tried from my PC and no problems, PC has been temperamental and I have just been using my iPad.
So, on OS I can only upload 1 pic on desktop 5 with no issue.
Sorry for the frustration.
Paul.

Someday they will hopefully appear in the post without opening a new window from a link...that is the point. The vB4 photo window with all the photos was great, even if it would sometimes stall on one in some cases and sites.

PS I was unaware this wasn't how iPhone operated in general. Heard of this in vB4. Suggesting it's your phone OS.

It's a pretty cool purple/violet, but it's still a link.
Have you tried the attachments?

Nobody wants to open a separate window for every single picture is the point being made here.

I am confused, iBobi. You say the problem has been fixed, but I still can't post photos from a mobile device unless the photos are linked from another site. On my desktop computer, I can upload photos from files, but I can't do that on my iPhone or iPad. Why allow users to upload photos from a computer but not a mobile device?
Most of my photos are stored on my mobile devices, and I don't always have access to my desktop computer. Why can't I simply grab a photo from my phone, as I can do quite easily on Facebook or any number of other websites? The way it is now, I have to download all of my photos to another site (such as Flickr) and then link to the URLs from that site. It not only takes much longer, but I have limited numbers of photos on Flickr. Providing URLs from Flickr also gives someone access to all of my photos there, which I might not want to do.

Your devices are no more safe than your Flickr account, by that reasoning. Make sure that you backup to offline media for safety.

So, where are we at now with this?
I have been thinking about this and I can still only load 1 photo that stays as a thumbnail, am I missing something?
It is frustrating to say the least to have an update in 2016 that does not seem to be fully compatible with an iPad?
I have been on the forum less lately and maybe less in future, I do not have this issue on any other forum, and the updates to the other forums are more compatible with iPads
Example below,

You realize that after so many years and so many photos, if I'm going to post my OWN photos, I'm not going to host them on a flaky site that loses them willy-nilly all the time anyway.
That is another reason I deleted Tempest, The Grey Bike Grows Up. Nine years down the drain for RETRO.
The bone I'd have to pick is a cow's femur.
