Forum jump button...

The forum jump feature at the bottom of a thread page... Can that GO button be made bigger? Yeah, I know... why? Well us mobile users that don't care for the mobile view, still want to use the jump button because it marks the current thread read... and if that button was a bit larger, it would be easier to hit without having to zoom.

Thanks

You can't mark the thread as read by using forum jump, at least I don't see a way.

Can't you just use either "forum tools" > "mark this forum read"

Or under quicklinks: "mark forums read"

Actually, it does. It marks the thread read just as much as returning to the top and clicking on that thread name. I think you have to do it from the last page of the thread, but it works better than just hitting the back button on your browser.

Forum tools marks the entire subforum read. The go button only marks the one thread read.

But still... can the button be made bigger?

I may have used wrong terms.

This is a thread. (above, there are "thread tools"). Using the Forum jump feature at the bottom of the page marks this thread read. But the go button is tiny.

Above this, in the Forum suggestions & user assistance, at the top, is a Forum tools feature, that allows you to mark the whole thread as read.

So I am just looking for the GO button in the Forum Jump feature (in a thread) to be made bigger. (wider, would be fine, as wide as "Post Quick Reply" would be outstanding.)

Thanks

Unfortunately, this is one request we won't be able to fulfill.

But just to also let you know, if you are in a thread it's considered "read" by the site as you are currently reading it. You don't need to use forum jump to mark the thread you are in as the system already does this automatically.

Well if I use a browser back button, it doesn't show the thread marked...

But OK, I don't want to be a whiner... thanks for the work, the responses and BF in general.

If you hit the back button and it's still showing as unread, it's probably just a cached version of the page, you can press F5 on your keyboard and the read status should update.

Of course it does, it's a cached page and to get it correct you need to F5/refresh.
