By the way, they say they busted the Nigerian Prince scammer...he's pretty old, probably couldn't find someone to buy a drink at the bar.
It drives people crazy when the 'unexpected' happens and then 'somebody' must fix this! But One More Time...
Are you a member of any other sites owned by our owner, Internet Brands?
You should be able to find their logo/name somewhere on the site. Their techs all have 'ib' in the username.
What I've been trying to get at since 11 AD is that IB uses the same version of VBulletin (they own that company as well), one they developed SPECIFICALLY for all of their forums sites, exclusive to IB sites.
Ergo sum, this CANNOT be the 'only site that does this', you simply don't have any others!
If they have problems here then it's IMPERATIVE that you try hard to help and do what they ask of you. They are trying to improve their own platform, and for EVERYONE.
If you don't at least copy the URL ('web address') shown when those ads show up, even if it's a bunch of numbers, try to snap a shot of your screen...then it becomes a lot of guess work.
YOU can be the problem as much as 'they'. If you just use the device/browser like it's a thing and don't learn anything about how to really use it well you are probably going to be at the mercy of whatever Hun comes over for leftover meatloaf.
So please, let's stop screaming blue murder and go hunting for hacker wabbits.

All I’m getting is this looping over & over
& over
Everytime I try to read a post
After about 5 or 6 cancel & < buttons I get a few seconds
The it starts again
Then stops a bit
Starts again if I go to next page

Something you can try if you are on CHROME:
- Load chrome://flags/#enable-framebusting-needs-sameorigin-or-usergesture in the browser's address bar.
- Switch the status of the "Framebusting requires same-origin or a user gesture" experimental flag from default to enabled.
- Restart the Chrome browser.

I'm an admin on another forum that also uses Vbulletin software. We don't get this pop-up thing over there, but that forum is not for-profit; we don't allow any ads.
