Let me edit the title to my posts

Why can't I edit the title to my posts? I typo'd something in the title of my last post, but I can't do anything about it after the fact. I can't delete the post, or edit the title. Can we please change that?

Thanks,

I think deleting the thread you started is the only option.

No, there's no need to delete.

Go to edit, then go advanced. You'll find the headline there and can edit it at will.

I've done that but the old (misspelled) title still shows up unchanged in the main touring page.

Thanks,
Asking us isn't going to get anything done.

There is a forum for that:

Although you can appear to be able to change the title the way you've suggested, it will change the heading within the thread, but not the main heading.

Deleting is quick and easy.

But something to keep in mind is that, when the original poster deletes his/her original post, the whole thread disappears, so if a thread has a lot of good responses, you might not want to delete.

Just report the post by clicking the little red circle on the lower left of your post. Then ask us to fix the typo in your thread title.
