Short Login Time
Numerous times, I have written a long post, and when I submit it, I discover that I am logged off the forum. When I log back onto the forum, and submit the post, my post comes as a blank page, having to be rewritten over, sometimes not at all.
My question is how to lengthen my login time, and in fact, this is my second attempt in starting this thread, since I discovered that I was, in fact, logged off.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

When you log in and click "remember me," you get a cookie that keeps you logged in for weeks unless you log out again yourself. If you're being logged out sooner than that, your browser is deleting your cookies or you're private browsing and not getting the cookie at all. You need that cookie to stay logged in.

I get logged off way too quickly too. I do not allow long term cookies by any site, so the proposed solution by the admin won't work for me. I see no harm in allowing one to remain logged in for a few more minutes. The current time-out is just too short for no gain to the forum income or resources.

Thanks for the info, I'll give it a go, and see what my results are.
