Adobe update, spoof or what????

On this site, and only on this site, I get this popup that basically locks everything up so the only way to get out is to close the window, forum and all. I captured the link that I will post below..
Do not open this link unless you know what it is and how to deal with it. ---->http://eifi9asiator.org/952786224190...b32ced6bd.html
Anybody know if this is legit? If it's a spoof, and I think it is, admin needs to do something about this, as it seems to be lurking on this site.

Got it again this morning. I think it's originating from the "Funny or Interesting GIF's thread.

Have you continued to experience this? This is the only report I've received of the problem.

Less frequently now. It might have piggybacked on one of the gif's, if that's possible? Anyway, it says Adobe needs to be updated, and goes straight to initializing. Hitting the cancel button on the pop up did nothing. The only way out was to close the entire page. Thanks for looking at this.
@ Rollfast, are you saying yahoo is infested?

probably something linked in that gif thread. Gif sites are notable malware sources

Kind of what I figured. I've scoured mine multiple times with two different systems to make sure none of it stuck. Clean so far...
I think I'm going to avoid that part of the forum for a while.

It's likely not from the gif thread. May be coming from an advertiser. If you see it again, please try to get a screenshot so we can give tech a sense of what's going on. I'll be on the lookout as well.

I see the link I copied from it and posted In the first post turned into vaporware. Whoever, or whatever is generating this is real cagey.

I hope I got this right. Pardon the crooked lines. I see I didn't need to try and snip as I copied the whole page, so nevermind the line around it, but this is what has been popping up, and it just did it again.

PS, I'm glad I didn't snip where the line is, as you can clearly see the url, so you can also see it has nothing to do with Adobe.

If you use Firefox or maybe Chrome you can back out of it. This happens a lot on Yahoo, which is why I don't go there with IE 11.

Meanwhile, bear with me...this is a test.

PS why would positioning (like center left and right) be inactive in highlighting and trying to format a post, only to become active when you un-highlight?

Then you have to insert breaks (return, enter) because even if you space it downward the content you wish to return to the previous orientation get moved up a line to right below? Taking one or more edits defeats the purpose of the compose window entirely.

I had to fix this on the fly the first time..

Still didn't come out right and had to insert more breaks. It's also not true centering, it's placing the left boundary at a fixed position, regardless of image size, which isn't really auto-sizing either. Centering should be on the reply column, not the ID section.

Test over. I've proven that the video plays on two other vB sites including this one and a 4.2.x in IE 11, the one that doesn't (black box) yet works in Firefox has a glitch and it was reported there.

Thanks for your patience. Now you see why Fleetwood Mac were silly to kick Lindsay out.
