Can’t click on links here
Ok - completely baffled here and hoping computer whizzes here can help. For two months when opening Bike Forums on any of the three laptops in my house with IE, Chrome and Firefox I can’t lick on any hyperlinks in the screen. The only place I can get in and click on sub forums and threads is on my phone. I finally figured out it only happens when I am logged in. If not logged into BF I can click on any and all links to my heart’s content. When logged in I can’t even get to my user profile
Anyone else experience this before. I tried clearing the browser cache and it worked for one click to get into C&V and then I couldn’t click again Would appreciate any ideas to get this problem fixed so I can actually see what’s happening in BF again. Trying to do stuff only on the phone sucks. |
Noticed a similar thread below about this problem. Hope the solution if figured out quickly

That sounds like the exact problem I had. See the thread below that I started 01-08-20, Can't Respond or select..... Last reply 01-29-20
IBJoel found that my account was "on the wrong forum skin" whatever that means. I'm just fine now on each machine. Note: I also figured out to effectively clear my cache on each machine. That cleared a couple of minor issues (ex:mentions not working) that had started long ago. Between that and IBJoel's trouble shooting BF works very well these days. Good luck. |
I've had to clear the cache before to make this work.

Read the thread "Forum skin issues" last reply 03-05-20. May help the OP. However it sounds like setting the "forum skin" properly must be done PRIOR to logging in as afterwards you may be locked out due to being on the unsupported skin. Almost a "catch 22"

Hi Scozim,
I changed your forum skin last week, but my apologies, I forgot to post in here. Is everything OK now? |
