It don’t work
Something is wrong. Beyond my ability to diagnose. Every time I visit it’s another login. Spend a few minutes and another login is called for. Posting is almost impossible. The page says I am logged in and may post. Doesn’t matter, enter a comment, press the button and am kicked to login again. I am not good with computers. Will never attempt to perform higher functions like posting a photo. But should not be kicked out for just trying to read.

Cookies are and have been accepted. Even more oddness. Today the site appears as a minimal schematic that looks like a dial-up page from 1990s. To submit this reply I copied and pasted from email notification. The page we are on cannot be found at all on the version of bikeforums.net that now appears.

This is an iPad. The Mac needs a new battery and am having trouble with getting that replaced in COVID time. The Mac did the same thing with repetitious logins.
It does seem to stay logged in today. The schematic display is very odd. It looks like Windows 95 or maybe even earlier.

Site is a little better now-- was able to stay 7 min before the virus strike. Must be a tough time to be a moderator. Thanks for all you do.

Olefeller is not me, though I am certainly old.
Last entry at lower left is Forum Leaders below which appears a symbol that looks like two cartoon dialog bubbles, overlapping, followed by a dash, a single dialog bubble, another dash. Below that Last Post: Never. Even below that is an advert and then copyright information. Screenshot? I suppose I could look up how to take a screenshot, when pursuing instructionals that sounds like a step I could complete. Conveying a screenshot to you is infinitely beyond my capacity.
Or maybe you mean this very page. Clarity never occurs when the topic is computers. There is a box headlined Current Attachments in boldface. Inside the box is Valid file extensions: bmp doc joe jpeg jpg pdf png psd txt zip. Then inside a bubble Manage Attachments and finally Submit Reply in white on a blue border. Then the same advert and the same copyright.

First it seems the login is stable again so maybe the problem is in abeyance.
On whatever version of the forums I was viewing, the one that looked created on an 80286 processor, I found some horizontal parallel bars in upper left corner that looked like it might be a menu. Clicked on that and a left margin drop down on a black background materialized. Near the bottom of that drop down was a legend that said View Full Site. Clicked on that and am viewing the forums again in the format from status quo ante.
Let me say the moderators here are helpful and good. But putting oneself into shoes of someone computer illiterate seems to be impossible for the initiated. There are tens of millions of us who are getting more and more cut off from the world because we can’t computer. I have been trying hard since that 286 processor was new. Have spent many thousands of hours and tens of thousands of dollars trying. No luck. Have a riding partner my age who might have an IQ of 85 who can do it all on the box. Know a lady 102 years of age who has massive files of photos and videos for the children grandchildren great grandchildren all well organized on her computer. She does video editing for the great grands. And of course any 4 year old can compute. None of the above can tell me what I am doing wrong. And so we get more and more isolated. When my current flip phone dies I will just be cutoff, will need an intermediary just to make a phone call. And of course no one but us oldsters even uses voice communication any more. Human communication is now mostly by thumb.

Should add that the message at bottom of page clearly states that I may post. Simply never know if that is true.
Also just started to see drop downs that look all different. This does still appear to be the NG page, but with odd differences.

Oh, you're in the mobile skin. If you click on those 3 horizontal bars, scroll down, and click "View Full Site", like you discovered. It sounds like you might not be accepting cookies from Bike Forums, which is how we keep you logged in.
