with multi-level subs upon scrolling down then back, it changes to this (separate spans with bold titles), but upon scrolling back to top, it changes back to the above h1's lined up.

Just to add my 2¢
The font should be smaller for the path. I know I'm old and use readers but the website doesn't need to patronize me by recognizing my old age eyes with such big font for something like that.
