Moderated Threads and Posts
 

Hello BikeForums members,

I just wanted to share something that I have noticed regarding new(er) members. Some posts will require approval if you are a new(er) member and attempt to create a new thread, post, or post a picture. I'm not sure what the exact criteria is before this effect "wears off" after creating your account.

But if you make a post and it doesn't appear to have gone through, please do not create another post. Instead, PM a moderator, such as myself, and ask him/her to take a look and see if your thread/post requires approval.

Maybe you can help me. I'm still trying to figure out why I cannot post in the Politics and Religion forum. I've been in touch with some administrator who sent me to a thread that I responded to but have heard nothing back. It's not that I'm that interested in posting but I would be curious to know why I can't. Can you help? thanks

I think you need to ask for permission to post as is in this sticky near the top of the forum. It'd be nice if they put it in the forum description. But they didn't.

Also, when you need more immediate response from the people that admin and moderate BF and/or you have somewhat confidential stuff to discuss (which this isn't). You should use the Contact Us link near the bottom of most every page in the blue bar (if using the BF skin)
