thread censorship

Hey what's with the censorship of the ozzie thread?

There was more discussion about cycling on that thread than any of the totally pointless flandis threads. How come they haven't all been moved to "foo" (whatever that is), or perhaps there should be a forum for drug taking.

The oz thread had been going for quite some time, without any observable problems, what happenned all of a sudden?

Is this some kind of anti-Australian move by one of the moderators?

Pissed off.

ummm we have been nuked. Seems 1 of our illustrious moderators has taken a dislike to us....I'm sure you'll hear from her & have this thread nuked as well. Appears to be a combination of us being naughty boys & disagreeing with a mods opinions...apparently you can say whatever you like as long as it's in line with the mods view.....so where the hell is Yarramalong?

STFU! I'm a clyde!

I must say I'm a little disappointed.....but only because I didn't even begin suggesting how Landis could've got more Testosterone into his system in 'untraditional' ways!

You're correct though, the double standards on this board are incredible, but sadly no more incredible than some other cycling forums. It's unfortunate that Little Hitlers think they can just do whatever the hell they like, like there are no standards of fairness.

I mean, nuke an entire thread because you don't agree with what a couple of the contributors have said? Fark, if I was a mod I'd nuke every thread on this board, the amount of bullsh¡t I read daily. To top it off, if you nuke and entire thread that's frequented by predominantly Aussies because one or two people you don't like are Aussies, how is that not only censorship but also blatent discrimination?

Having never met Koffee I will make the bold assumption she's African American by her name and avatar, making the entire debarcle ironic AND ludacrous! Actually, it's not that dissimilar in theory to say having a bunch of Saudis fly a few planes into a building, and then invading Iraq! Thankfully, that analogy doesn't quite work as she would've had to mistaken all of us for Kiwis and nuked 'the Kiwi Thread' instead!!!!!!

Have you checked out the sticky on road cycling about flanders on tv? I think the coffee person is the moderator that made that one sticky.

Somehow it's ok to discuss an American cheat on a road cycling forum AND make it sticky, but the oz thread was obviously not appropriate. Duh.

Btw, I searched on coffee's posts and quite a few could be considered not appropriate for the forum that they're posted on.

Self important, childish, petulant, sooky, humourless, self absorbed. And I haven't even got started on the mods yet!

I must have missed the good bits when I went to bed.

It's a sad state of affairs when an off topic punch on starts in one thread and another completely different thread gets the chop.
Especially as TAT seemed to be about the most viewed thread on the forums (apart from show your rides)

I think we were like the Big Brother house of bf. Everyone watched it but the govt (as it were) wanted us banned.

I still dont think it was that off topic. There was a definite lull while waiting for the results of the next test. A few disagreements, a reach for the ammo, bam off topic.

I think a lot of it goes back to the "seppo" incident which I still dont understand, you have threads ripping into the French that dont get binned, but when the tables turn a 3rd party thread gets the chop! Talk about collective punishment.
