Yellow text boxes under my mouse are *incredibly* annoying.

This has happened for a long time, but it's horribly annoying.

It would be one thing if they only popped up when I was hovering over the title of a post, but they pop up all the time, regardless of where the mouse pointer is.

Go away stupid text bubble, I can't read the page!

- this is why i only use RSS views of new BF posts (post topics become a drop-down menu on my Firefox toolbar)...

- BTW, Firefox only puts up a one-liner for a short period of time in message list view, so it's no big deal...

I like the pop-ups, it helps to screen the post. Mine only pop-up when when I mouse over the title.

i WISH THEY ONLY CAME UP when you put the mouse over the title, and stayed up as long as you kept it there. sometimes I can't read the preveiw fast enough.

I use that feature almost extensively. It lets me "look into" a thread to double check whether it is going to be a dumb post or something worth reading. I can sometimes go through an entire day previewing threads. Just drag your mouse in the white area instead of over the links. There is no read window then.

Please keep this. This is a very useful feature to me.

I like this feature too.

It's called a "tool tip" and you can likely turn them off in Windows if you like.

Agreed, I love it. I hate going into the thread only to read the first sentence and realize I didn't need to read it (especially on a slow connection)
