Hey I think I got it..Flickr just copies the link but Photobucket shows the pic..

I did everything you said. I got to the browse button I went to "my pictures" selected the photo, uploaded it, got a reply indicating the upload was complete, sent it on it's merry way, checked the post: saw post but no picture.
