Just copy the URL and bracket it in

So we had a nice button to post images, now it's back to writing codes? BTW, the "paste URL" in the uploader won't let me paste anything. I thought it was adblock, but no.

I don't know.

I always used the BBcode.

the meaning of some of the buttons may have changed.

We have an even nicer button now. Use the photo uploader. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...0393bb0759.jpg

I wanted to post a picture I've posted before. It's already on BF in my attachment list. We used to be able to choose from that list. Pasting the URL doesn't work for some reason.

Oh ok, I understand your question now. If the pictures are saved in an album, you can find them in the photouploader
https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...8f5d492029.jpg

Just use the "My Albums" option.

Erick L 05-22-18 11:24 AM

It's not in an album, it's in my attachment list in control panel, so I have to get there, copy the URL and come back to my post and write the BB code instead of clicking "manage attachments" and choose from that list.

I also don't see a "my albums" button in the uploader, just like I can't paste anything in the URL field. There are three buttons that do the same thing now and none of them work properly even after disabling adblock.

That's the old button. I think it starts a different car now.

It's the same you showed except when I wrote my post, only the URL field was showing and the rest was blank. I still can't paste anything in the URL field. It just won't stick for some reason. I've seen the same uploader on another forum and it worked, but it's still awful compared to the old way. I wrote a few long posts that I deleted because posting pics is a PITA. Now I'm trying to post a youtube video and there's no button for that anymore.

URL field and posting Youtube videos seem to be working. See if clearing your browser cache/cookies helps at all.

Are you just posting the URL of the youtube video to post it? Because that's all you need.

Clearing cache did nothing. When I paste an URL, it shows for a fraction of a second and disappear. It did work on another site and it's still too complicated than it should. Three icons do the same thing now and none simply brings up the IMG tags (what IMG icon used to do) or brings up all the attachments I've posted before (what "manage attachments" did before). This new format is awful, not to mention the skin, which looks so generic. There's that huge useless header too.

The video did work, but it doesn't show properly in the preview. This was actually a complaint of mine with the old site. Sometimes I wanted to put a video or photo in a text link so it doesn't break the flow of the text and having videos show up automatically prevents that.

What browser and device are you using? I haven't had any other reports of this.

Firefox on laptop and desktop, both with Windows 7.

IBThomas 07-23-18 10:48 AM

Weird, I wasn't able to reproduce this. Are you using the updated "skin"? Check in the teal bar and make sure you have BikeForumsNG selected.
